My first exposure to theatre was in my freshman year, in Mr. Garcia's drama 1 class. I remember being rediculously nervous on the first day of class (I enrolled in the class without thinking too much about it, because I needed an elective, but by the time school rolled around i realized the extraverted implications of a drama class). But, I also remember being infatuated with it within the first five minutes. I quickly fell deeply in love with the class, and did not think twice about auditioning for the coming play, Clue. It just felt like what I was supposed to do. I landed the role of Ms. White, and by the end of the production, I knew that I wouldn't ever be able to live without acting. That's when I knew that I wanted to be an actress, and I haven't looked back since. I have participated in every production in my time here, by acting, singing, dancing, or teching. I have found a family here, a passion, a home. I am full of anticipation for the coming year, from the one act I am directing, to In The Heights, to The Great Gatsby. See you from the stage, x.
